Baby Crib Mattress Problems
This website focuses mainly on crib bedding. A baby crib
mattress does fall into that category but what I want to tell you about here is a very unique and time saving method of changing the sheets
on a babies crib mattress. I don't want to get sidetracked too badly but once awhile I will touch on baby cribs or nursery accessories. The
reason I do this today as I had to tell you about a product we found that would've made our lives as parents so much
easier.
Disposable diapers are convenient safe and very absorbent however they probably aren't the best thing for the environment. That is
a different debate. My point is even with the super absorbent diapers we have these days you positively will have leaks out onto the babies
bedding.
If you're new mom I will help you set your expectations here. You can expect your little bundle of joy to leak onto the crib
bedding several times each week. This does not include how many times he or she will spit up on the crib bedding. The bottom line is you
will change your babies crib bedding a lot.
Now don't worry your crib mattress will be protected by a mattress pad and your sheets will wash easily. However this is a great
reason to have several sets of crib sheets purchased and on hand.
The hard part of changing your crib sheets and mattress pad is something we don't think about too often. You probably have never
given any thought to the process of how you will actually change the sheets on the crib.
This can actually be a real pain in the backside and I mean that both literally and figuratively. First you remove any hanging
toys on the crib then depending on the crib you may have to remove the crib bumper pad. Your body is hunched over at a 45° angle trying to
get down in between the mattress and crib railing so you can get the sheet and mattress pad off the mattress. Now that you have all of the
bedding off the mattress it's time to put all of the clean bedding back on. Put you mattress pad in place then the sheets and crib bumper
pad finally you can put the crib toys back in place. Am I exaggerating? No .... not a bit. If you do this several times a week (and you
will) you are really going to feel the pain in your back even if you have never had back problems before.
This information applies not only to the standard rectangular cribs but also on the newer round cribs as well.
I ran across this product totally by accident and it can't help us anymore because we stopped have children when we got to number
nine. But I thought I would pass this information along so you can check it out yourself.
This is an ingenious idea and I wish it was around when we had babies. The company that
sells the product has a brief online video that really tells the story. Check it out and I would urge you strongly
consider it. Your back will thank you :o) The Quick Change Baby
Crib
Oh! by the way I did do a little checking on the products safety....I guess it is just the parent in me ;o) that information is
below.

This seal is your assurance that our crib meets or exceeds American Society for Testing and Material Safety Standards developed in
conjunction with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association.
The Quick Change Crib is JPMA Certified.
That's important. Why? Here are some important facts!
* JPMA's Certification Program is backed by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the American Society for Testing and
Materials, a highly regarded non-profit organization that publishes standards for materials, products, systems and services.
* JPMA's certification seal is available to manufacturers who voluntarily submit products for testing. Only after the product
passes rigorous testing of the appropriate ASTM standard can it display the Certification Seal.
* JPMA urges all parents to look for the JPMA Certification Seal on products and packages when shopping for baby.
* To become JPMA Certified, a product must be tested by an independent testing facility for compliance with the specific ASTM
standards. If a product passes the tests, JPMA allows the manufacturer to label it with the JPMA Certified Seal.

need it.
I've found some of the best baby bedding providers and I have also found some of the
worst.
Below I had listed two of the best nursery bedding suppliers on the Internet. I recently bumped into a third and I really
felt compelled to list them here also. The other two sites are excellent but the company called Warm Biscuit is quite different. The Items they
have on their site are of hand made quality and they have many items that can be customized or personalized. So if you want high
quality bedding and accessories that will add coziness and warmth to your nursery I would urge you to check them out. Here is one of their banner
ads. Just click on the banner and you can browse their site to see what I am talking about.

These other two sites are excellent also. They aren't quite as unique as Warm Biscuit but they have an incredible variety, they
have beautiful sites that are easy to navigate so you can find exactly what you looking for. They also make it very easy to compare prices,
features and benefits of the baby bedding. Both have secure sites and money back guarantees if not delighted. To Browse
their sites just click on one of the banners below to be taken right to the crib bedding section.
